Job Description
Our client in the pharmaceutical space is looking for an energetic Content Writer/Strategist to join their team!
As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for developing and executing the internal communications strategy for our client’s organization to ensure operational efficiency and support thought leadership. You will be responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages employees and strengthens the company’s culture, both on internal and external channels and properties. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s new brand guidelines, goals and values.
This will be a fully remote, ongoing contract with EST working hours.
Compensation Range: $45 – 48 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the social communications strategy for the organization, including key messaging, communication channels, and tactics.
- Create and deliver content, including email updates, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.
- Work with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure that communications are timely and relevant.
- Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and help foster a positive company culture.
- Design content and oversee implementation for DEIB communications, cultural and wellness calendars, meetings and other events.
- Assist with crisis communications, ensuring all employees are informed and up-to-date.
- Maintain the company’s internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.
- Coordinate internal events and other initiatives to promote employee engagement, strengthen the company culture and increase external awareness.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communication, Journalism or a related field.
- Experience working at a creative agency.
- 5+ years of copyediting and copywriting.
- 5+ years of professional work experience.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent copy-editing skills.
- Comfort working on a range of projects from short-form (like headlines) to longer-form (like brand positioning).
- Have an interest in popular culture, new trends and styles.
- Ability to work on multiple campaigns for various internal brand clients at once, often in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to inspire and sell creative rationale to senior management, and cross-functional teams.
