Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join an established Healthcare Organization located in Maryland for a contract to hire opportunity. This position is REMOTE. The Salesforce Developer will play a critical role in tailoring Salesforce to align with the organization’s unique needs and process.

Responsibilities of the Salesforce Developer:

• Conduct detailed design, coding, code optimization, unit testing, and code deployment.
• Manage the full software lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, development, code reviews, test automation, and implementation using Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, BDD).
• Communicate effectively with team members and collaborate on reviewing designs, fixing bugs, and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Contribute to a solution-oriented, accountable team that meets goals and focuses on satisfying customer needs through creative problem-solving.

Qualifications of the Salesforce Developer:

• 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce.com applications development and implementation.
• 3-5 years of experience using Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Components, Test Classes, schedule jobs, batch jobs, and email services.
• Experience with Workflow and Approvals, Dashboards, Custom Objects, and Custom Settings.
• Experience developing in Salesforce Communities or Experience Cloud.
• Integrating external applications with Salesforce using REST/SOAP.
• Involvement with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
• Salesforce Administrator certification strongly recommended
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification preferred
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field preferred

Compensation for Operations Manager:

• Salary Range: $40.0-$50.0 per hour
