About the Role

As the Email Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting Scorpion’s email marketing efforts designed to attract and retain Scorpion clients.  You will report to the Director of Demand Gen and will collaborate with all departments within the Corporate Marketing department to bring our email marketing campaigns to life. You’ll also be responsible for building out our B2B email marketing strategies.

What your success will look like

  • Own our B2B email marketing strategies designed to attract and retain Scorpion clients. development to ensure they drive qualified leads across all devices.
  •  Build and execute our prospect, customer, and client email campaigns, incorporating rigorous quality assurance and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Design email marketing campaigns based on audience analysis.
  • Use email segmentation to send curated content to specific audiences.
  • Ensure email formatting, spelling and send times are accurate to industry best practices.
  • Create email databases to store contacts and conduct customer lead analysis.
  • Edit email templates for desktop and mobile use.
  • Set up automated email sequences and schedules.
  • Track conversion rates and related revenue from campaigns.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of our email and landing page HTML templates in Marketo.

Who you are and what you bring

  • 3-5 years of experience leveraging Marketo or a similar tool.
  • 3-4 years of experience leading nurture strategies and cultivating customer relationships.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B Marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, information technology, related  field or equivalent of work experience. .
  • Familiarity with working on highly matrixed teams.
  • Experience with Marketo is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to set goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required.
  • Project Management skills are required.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and content management systems.
  • Expertise with web and user analytics tools.

Compensation

  • We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency.  As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
  • The base salary range is $90,000 – $105,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
