Job Description

Piper Companies is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst / Splunk Admin for a leading health insurance company in New Jersey. This is a 100% Remote, Direct Hire, Full-Time Opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Administration, Log Onboarding / content development in Splunk.
• Actively prepare for, and search for, malicious internal and external threats.
• Provide 2nd Tier analysis and response to security events.
• Analyze malware, emerging threats, and emerging risks.
• Perform daily incident detection and response operations.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in Cyber Security or related field (including Intrusion event systems (IDS), host forensics, network forensic tools and techniques).
• 3+ years using Splunk.
• Big Bonus: Phantom, strong with it or willingness to learn it would be huge.
• Cloud experience? Big bonus, don’t need it.
• Management level experience and security certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred, not mandatory.
  • HCISPP, SANS GIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GMON, GCED, GCDA, GPEN, GWAPT, GCFA, GCFE, GNFA, GREM)

Compensation:

• Salary: $130,000 – $135,000
• 100% Remote
