Primary Objective:

The Business Development Representative will focus on increasing company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and handing them off to an Account Executive. The Business Development Representative will source new meetings with clients and advisors, and notify partners of key business developments. The objective is to identify and schedule meetings with prospective clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Source new opportunities from cold outbound activities per month as quota
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • High volume of outbound activities such as cold calling and cold emailing per month as quota
  • Present Spectrio to potential clients
  • Utilize sales engagement tools to identify key stakeholders across prospect organizations
  • Provide detailed feedback to immediate management as well as Channel leaders
  • General knowledge of Spectrio partner accounts based on industry expertise
  • Build and document knowledge about the client’s business and technical setups
  • Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behavior
  • Maintain a high level of Spectrio Digital Signage product and service knowledge
  • Evaluate client needs and communicate value propositions to partners and prospective clients
  • Show preparedness in Daily Team Meetings and Weekly Manager 1:1s
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or a related field is preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in a Business Development Representative role
  • Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience
  • Must have the ability to be persuasive with strong business acumen
  • Experience at negotiating sound business deals as well as problem solving skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and industry trends
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge
  • Consultative sales approach

*Position is Remote.  Considering candidates in the Southeast U.S. including FL, NC & TX.
