Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a global investment company out of Wayne, PA. This is a long term contract role that could be hybrid or remote depending on proximity to Wayne, PA (19087).

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily/weekly meetings in Agile (Simplify @Scale).
• Gather requirements and write PBIs from business on service tickets, bugs, and defects.
• Defining feature requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring relevant teams clearly understand what is being delivered, and why.
• Maintain sprints and associated activities in Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Coordinate testing.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint review, sprint planning, and other Simplify@Scale heartbeat meetings.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner with a background in APIs.
• One of more of the following: API development, spec design, gathering API requirements, documentation, understanding of API complexities, writing API requirements, digital transformation.
• Experience with ADO / Azure DevOps and Swagger preferred.
• Agile environment experience.
• Financial industry experience is a plus – financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.

Compensation / Benefits:

• Fully remote or hybrid depending on proximity to Wayne, PA office.
• CST or EST hours optional.

• $45 – $55 / hour.
