The IT сompany Andersen invites a Back-end Developer (Node.js) to work on a large-scale project for our USA partner.

The customer has built a leading catalog management platform to be used in concession stands, merchant tablets, and eCommerce websites. The platform allows its users to manage product selection, set and manage pricing terms, select distribution channels, and customize the look and feel of the application.

The project is the development of a platform for customizing product catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Participating in development planning and prioritization of work for the Scrum team.
• Collaborating in development and testing of features of our roadmap to enhance our cloud platform.
• Helping drive the underlying technology stack.
• Implementing cloud-based systems from technical design with well commented and well tested code.
• Driving performance tuning and automation.
• Creating and driving better metrics, monitoring initiatives to gain valuable insights from the customer’s cloud services.
• Embracing and instituting best practices and coding standards within the team.
• Composing detailed design specifications.
• Contributing in research technologies and fast prototyping.
• Troubleshooting all build and deployment issues.
• Actively participating in retrospectives to improve Agile/Scrum practices.

Requirements

• Experience with programming Node.js for 4-6+ years.
• Expertise with AWS Cloud technologies, particularly proficient in utilizing AWS Lambda.
• Demonstrate understanding of cloud design in the areas of global infrastructure, distributed systems, security, and load balancing.
• Experience developing Cloud applications with API management and distributed microservices-based architecture.
• Experience with data modeling for NoSQL data patterns, including proficiency in MongoDB.
• Experience with applying Open-Source software in an enterprise.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL database technologies, with a particular emphasis on MongoDB.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on delivering high-quality documents.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Angular.
• Cloud Development certification.
