Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking an Azure Data Architect for a world leading technology organization. The Azure Data Architect will lead the architecture needs for the Data Warehouse and Analytics team and will be responsible for building out the analytics platform. The Azure Data Architect must work EST or CST hours.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand and improve business processes
• Translate business requirements into technical solution design
• Deliver high quality data solutions that meet business stakeholder needs
• Work with a geographically dispersed team and flexibility to meet with team members in different time zones 

Requirements: 

• 8+ years of data architecture experience
• Strong Azure background
• Data modeling, Star Schema/Kimball dimensional modeling experience
• Skills in: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, Dax, SQL, Tabular cubes etc
• Detailed oriented, strong organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree

Compensation of the Azure Data Architect: $150,000 – $180,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package
