Primary Objective:
Lead, manage and inspire the post-installation phase of the customer relationship with automotive “Base Package” clients. The AAM manages, to the highest standards, the key product areas of the automotive vertical as well as assisting the client in controlling the environment, humanizing the dealership, creating brand loyalty and supporting the modification of consumer behavior through a collaborative business partnership. As the “face and voice” of the automotive vertical the AAM nurtures client relationships through timely, effective and value-added internal and external communications where trust is established through the following traits: organization, accountability, professionalism, epitomizes “student of the industry” attitude, respect for all and a desire to win.
Responsibilities:
- Sales quota while managing assigned Book of Business (Accounts).
- Collaborate with Regional Account Managers to upsell existing customers on Spectrio Products.
- Determine sales prospect needs assessment, communicate value propositions
- Present Spectrio portfolio of products and services including, but not limited to the following: digital signage, DealerTV, ABN Live!, ABN Inspire!, Over Head Music, On Hold Messaging, WiFi Marketing, Production
- Successfully schedule sales presentations with “A” level decision makers in automotive or advertising environments
- Solicit referrals and testimonials from existing, satisfied clients
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key decision makers in assigned customer accounts
- Competitive analysis
- Assist with client follow-up on meetings, proposals, adjustments to proposals, collection of tailored information and CRM data entry
- Work efficiently and productively in an independent role
- Meet, or exceed, Automotive Sales Standards of Excellence (SOE)
- Responsible to prevent Customer Churn
- Proactive outbound calling to Dealer Principles, General Managers, Service Managers, and Marketing Managers for each assigned account
- Educate and advise dealership personnel on digital signage best practices through timely, consistent and value-added direct interfaces
- Partner and collaborate with dealer principals, general managers and dealership contacts to develop campaigns consistent with the overall dealership marketing plan
- Modify and ensure playlists are current and targeted to the dealerships’ goals, traffic patterns, dwell times, customer demographics, etc.
- Collaborate with the Production Department to create and network digital assets and optimize user experience
- Create content for Accounts using ABN Studio and Canva
- Evaluate client experience and utilization across multiple channels for best practice sharing
- Launch and train on all product initiatives for new and qualified dealers
- Measure, report, and communicate on dealer satisfaction’s impact on client retention and renewals
- Remain current and knowledgeable on all Automotive products and services
- Understand competitive climate of similar Automotive products and services
- Report all technical and/or content issues through proper channels, communicate
- resolution to dealer principal, general manager and/or point-of-contact and ensure thorough follow-up to client satisfaction
- Meet and/or exceed all designated key performance indicators on a monthly basis
- Adhere to all Automotive branding and image guidelines, especially as it pertains to client collaboration
- Maintain CRM to include but not limited to: calls held, dealer profile information and contacts
- Special projects and/or surveys as assigned by management
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 3 years automotive industry experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree preferred – business, marketing, or related field
- Advertising and marketing experience in the automotive industry preferred
